Quand la femme s’en mêle (1957) or Send a woman when the devil fails, in the English translation, is the film in which Alain Delon made his debut. It’s a delight to watch Delon in his first screen appearance, in a smaller role (it’s natural to be like that, it’s his first role in a movie), but not unimportant. He was 21 years old at the time in which the film was made. The subject of the film is about how events unfold in the mafia world. An interesting subject, considering the fact that this world is accessible only to the garbage of society and to the police. What can we say about Alain Delon? The freshness of youth speaks for itself.
