Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987) – Comedy with decent lines, something like this it is becoming more and more difficult to find nowadays. Many lines that provoke fun without the need for artificial laughter in the background, to remind you that you have to laugh. Stop the time! The quality of things and people is getting worse and worse. The 1980s were the glorious years of American cinema. We have here two great actors in the main roles, Steve Martin and John Candy, both being well known. One works for an advertising agency and the other sells curtain rings. They both want to get home but through a contest of unpleasant circumstances, the road to the house becomes very complicated. Trouble, blunders, humor but also a true friendship.
