Mississippi Burning (1988) – Pastor Martin Luther King fighter for the civil rights of people of color in the United States of America, was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. After his death, he was awarded with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977. Who killed Martin Luther King. Why FBI agents have been constantly discrediting the pastor? Percy Foreman, the lawyer for James Earl Ray (the pastor’s killer), claimed that he was just a scapegoat for a conspiracy that led to the assassination of Pastor Martin Luther King. He claims that his client admitted the crime by coercion. This film shows the injustices suffered by people of color in USA.
