Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981) – Usually any series of movies disappoints through inferior quality of the parts that follow the movie that impresses so much that someone wants Die Hard in series, James Bond in series, Home Alone in series, etc. In the case of Mad Max this rule does not apply. We have a much more intense and captivating second part. A devastating world war and an energy crisis it almost destroyed civilization. The people who survived are fighting for survival and for the few fuel resources. Gangs of violent robbers attack communities of people, the scenes are apocalyptic. Mel Gibson certainly doesn’t need any more introductions.
