Full Metal Jacket (1987) – Murder training and authorized killing? Words too big for an insignificant thing. The drama of the horrors of war, are the only the objective words suitable to describe a stupidity, the greatest stupidity on earth, namely, the armed conflict. Demented military spirit, promoted irresponsibly and aggressively it’s another immense stupidity. Unconscious and remorseful mercenaries, complex and uncontrollable killing machines? No, just some animals that want to be considered important. The film highlights the futility, the absurdity of war, which means nothing other than loss of life and destruction of property.
